Messy Church Christmas Special
With his reputation in tatters what does Joseph (Jesus' dad) say to us at Christmas? We will have crafts, games, worship and food. Messy Church is for young families and you will be very welcome, whether you are regular visitors or trying us out for the first time.
Sunday 10th December (2nd Sunday of Advent)
10.30am Family Communion
Our main Sunday worship gathering. All are welcome from the tiniest to the wisest! Twinkles (0-4 yrs old) and their parents and carers gather in their own area, near the altar. Sunday Clubs (school years: Reception - 13) begin in Church House at 10.20am. The service begins in church at 10.30am and we all join together for the celebration of Communion at the Lord's table. Refreshments and catching up with each other follow the service. Everyone is welcome. No previous experience necessary!
4pm Christingle
Our annual Advent celebration with the distribution of Christingle oranges. The Christingle is a special symbol to help children understand the relevance of Jesus at Christmas time. A lovely atmospheric service, reminding us of the light of Jesus in the world, especially when the Christingles are lit and the church lights are dimmed.
